Two Ways To Do It

How Junk Removal and Dumpster Rental Work in Modesto

Most companies give you one option. Toss Out gives you two: our crew loads it and it is gone the same afternoon, or we drop a dumpster in your driveway and you fill it on your own schedule. Same upfront price either way, and you approve the number before anything happens.

Start To Finish

What A Modesto Job Actually Looks Like

Toss Out has run this route since 2021 out of Modesto, and the process has not changed because it works. No dispatcher in another state, no bidding war, no crew that has never seen your street before.

1

Pick The Route That Fits The Job

A garage that needs clearing today is a crew job. A kitchen remodel that runs three weekends is a dumpster job. Tell Daniel what you are dealing with and he will tell you honestly which one costs you less, including when the answer is the dumpster and not the crew.

2

Lock A Two-Hour Window

We run five arrival windows a day, seven days a week: 7-9, 9-11, 11-1, 1-3 and 3-5. You get a window, not a vague morning-or-afternoon. Same-day is often open if you catch us early.

3

One Firm Price, Approved First

On a crew job the number covers labor, loading, hauling and disposal, and we walk the space with you before we give it. On a dumpster the number covers delivery, 1 day of rental, the included weight and pickup. Either way you approve it before we dispatch. If the job grows once the garage empties out, we re-quote on the spot and you approve that too.

4

It Leaves, And So Does The Mess

We load, we sweep the footprint, and we haul. Dumpster jobs work the same in reverse: ask for boards and the can goes down on them so your driveway does not get scarred, and we pull it when you say you are done.

You See The Number First

Published Load Sizes

Single item, small load, quarter, half, three-quarter and full are all published on the pricing page. You can read the tier your job falls into before you ever call.

Dumpsters Priced The Same Way

Fourteen, twenty and thirty yard cans, each with its own published starting rate. Delivery and pickup are in the number, not billed as extras when the can leaves.

Foothill Jobs Priced Openly

Tuolumne and Calaveras County runs cost more to reach and we say so on the pricing page instead of hiding it in a fuel line. Valley pricing covers Stanislaus and San Joaquin.

Straight Answers

Questions Modesto Customers Actually Ask

The Job

Do you rent dumpsters as well as haul junk?

Both, and they are genuinely different products rather than the same thing sold twice. Fourteen, twenty and thirty yard cans are available for jobs you want to work through at your own pace, and the crew handles everything you want gone today. Most calls start with somebody unsure which one they need, and the honest answer is often the cheaper one.

Do I need to move anything before you arrive?

No. The crew goes to wherever the items actually sit: the back of the garage, an upstairs bedroom, behind the shed, out in the yard. Nothing needs to be dragged to the curb, dismantled or boxed up beforehand, and that includes appliances, hot tubs and furniture that will not fit through the door in one piece.

What We Take

Do you handle demolition?

Light demolition, meaning decks, sheds, fences, interior drywall and concrete removal, along with hauling the debris out in the same visit. Structural and load-bearing work is outside what we take on, and we do not disconnect gas, electrical or plumbing lines, so anything needing a licensed trade has to be done before the crew arrives.

What kinds of cleanouts do you do?

Estate, eviction, hoarding, storage unit, garage, attic, basement, apartment and commercial cleanouts are all routine. These are the jobs where the dumpster question matters most, because a multi-day estate clearing is frequently cheaper with a container on-site than with a crew coming back repeatedly.

Pricing & Booking

What are the arrival windows?

Five two-hour windows a day, seven days a week: 7 to 9, 9 to 11, 11 to 1, 1 to 3 and 3 to 5. You pick one and that is the window the crew works to. Weekend hours are normal hours here rather than an after-hours rate.

What does the price include?

Labor, loading, hauling and disposal, in one number you approve before anything moves. Dense material such as roofing shingles is the one exception and is charged as a bed-load rate by the cubic yard. The crew identifies it on-site and includes it in your quote rather than adding it afterward.

Can I get a quote without anyone coming out?

Usually, yes. Text photos of what needs to go and Daniel will quote most jobs the same day. Larger or unusual ones, such as a hoarding situation, a full property clear or anything with tricky access, get confirmed on-site before work starts, because a photo cannot show how far the truck has to park from the door.

Service Area

How far do you go from Modesto?

Four counties. Stanislaus and San Joaquin on the valley floor cover Modesto, Stockton, Manteca, Turlock, Ceres, Riverbank, Oakdale, Escalon, Ripon, Lathrop, Tracy and Hughson at standard pricing. Calaveras and Tuolumne cover the foothill towns including Sonora, Copperopolis and Valley Springs, which carry a published premium rate because of the drive.

Still deciding between the crew and a dumpster? Call and describe the pile. Daniel will tell you which one costs less.
